Manager, Revenue & Accounting
Universal Brand Development
Within the growing Universal Brand Development (UBD) group, the Revenue Manager will be a key member of the Controllership team ensuring proper revenue recognition through the design, implementation and monitoring of effective policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with ASC 606 and SOX section 404 standards.
Own the quarter-end reporting and reconciliation process for earned royalty revenue and related accounts.
Prepare various reporting schedules throughout the close process, including but not limited to: Variance Analysis, Revenue Tracker, etc.
Oversee quarter-close activities performed by the overseas Financial Operations Team
Partner with FP&A to ensure transparency and accuracy in the quarterly earned royalty accrual process by providing value-add analysis and insight to reconcile forecast to actuals.
Provide reporting of actuals and corresponding analysis to FP&A and management as a whole for timely reporting.
Prepare and post revenue related journal entries in SAP.
Assist the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting on various projects on an ad hoc basis.
Assist in the external and internal audit and review of revenue and related accounts.
Remain current on new and emerging US GAAP guidance, trends and techniques as well as new contractual and operational arrangements to ensure that UBD’s revenue recognition policies remain current and accurate.
·Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
·CPA and/or MBA preferred
·Minimum 4 years of experience in finance and/or accounting

·Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
·Excellent data analytical skills
·Advanced Excel skills
·Working experience with SAP
·Experience with Consumer Products entity strongly desired; experience with a royalty (licensing) based business preferred
·Team player with good interpersonal skills
·Proactive approach to problem solving
·Strong work ethic and follow-through
