What You'll Do
The role of the Manager in business operations team has never been more important to our organization. You'll play an integral role in the team tying project results to business goals, resulting in an organization which runs smoothly and is committed to operating in alignment with Cisco’s future direction in digitization and IOE. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and solve for business efficiency.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for governance and alignment for all processes that directly impact portfolio, including resources planning, budgeting and finances.
Accountable for maintaining and leading lead cross-functional dialogue for funding needs to support portfolio planning and in order to support delivery and execution.
Drive the preparations for strategic planning and directly participated in strategic planning process.
Defined processes within internal team to assure governance alignment within larger business organizational structure
Responsible for defining structure for individual budgeting within functional tracks to assure funding is properly being aligned to portfolio prioritized programs.
Work with functional to estimates organizational resource capacity against resource demand and works with the business to appropriately allocate resources to prioritized programs
Manages and facilitates portfolio meetings, in addition to publishing portfolio reports, establishing operating model and provided all finding with management team.
Worked with cross-functional team to determine overall annual communication plans for senior management teams in alignment with Pulse findings and all senior leadership needs.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate should:
Have a thorough understanding of Business fundamentals and proven experience of leading cross functional initiatives
Be high energy, highly motivated, and a go-getter
Possess an ability to work with multiple leadership styles, and be effective in ambiguous and unstructured situations
Work independently and be a quick learner, able to move fast and adapt to changing pace
Possess Excellent Written and Verbal communication and budget management skills
Must be an expert in Excel. Have advanced Access database skills and be able to tell a financial story.
BA/BS in Business
At least 8 years of hands on Project/Program Management experience in a highly cross functional environment
