Position Description

As a Business Process Analyst Consultant, you'll drive vital projects that have strategic importance to make that mission a reality. You'll use your sharp business skills to assist in creating, controlling and improving business processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor Medicare Stars and HEDIS measures and  understand company performance measures
Monitor and evaluate all initiatives impacting population and adjust strategy as needed in consultation with Texas Executive Management to determine mix of channels and delivery system to 5 star ratings
Data mine all Stars and HEDIS reporting
Develop and execute overall Stars strategy for assigned health plan
Perform root cause analysis for poor performance on administrative and clinical measures and coordinate within the plan and across functional areas to resolve or improve
Innovate and drive local initiatives that address low performing measures
Monitor all quality reporting measures for Dual Special Needs, in addition to Star + Plus Nursing Facility and MMP
Demonstrated and proven experience in project management
Quantitative background and highly analytical with a genuine interest in analyzing and interpreting data
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, track and manage request and deliverables, and meet deadlines

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of Medicare Stars and HEDIS experience
Experience leading individual performance improvement initiatives at network and practice level while providing oversight of the development and deployment of performance improvement initiatives of performance improvement specialists for practice level PI
Experience leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of performance improvement activities network wide as well as at a practice; ability to manage changing conditions manage multiple projects at various stages and utilize critical thinking skills
Experience defining project scope, aims, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with a performance improvement team
Experience communicating project status to steering committee and key stakeholders
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Ability to travel locally up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in developing reports, working with large data sets and making data driven analytical decisions
Experience using COGNOS
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
Demonstrated experience in excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members; identify and resolve issues and conflicts with input from manager when necessary
Prepare and give written and oral presentations for internal and external audiences
Ability to identify, collaborate and engage with appropriate stakeholders to ensure project success
