Manager, Post Closing JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Post Closing is responsible for managing the collateral received and post-closing documents of loans the company has closed or is purchasing.Manager, Post Closing ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): * Ensures Post-Closing teams maintain a high production level and deadlines are met.Documents are properly uploaded into LOS, documentation reviews, recorded documents and title policies are obtained within specified standard timeframes.FHA VA, USDA, 184 and conventional premiums are paid and insured timely.Service released/service retained compliances packages are submitted to appropriate investors and purchased within set expectations.* Utilizes system data to generate reports that can be used to measure efficiency and productivity.* Summarizes and reports department activities, performance, and recommended changes to the Director, Post-Closing Operations.* Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.* Ensures Post-Closing work procedures and processes are up to date and supports company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives . * Leads supervisors to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company's overall strategy and goals.Challenges basic assumptions underlying each department's operations and act as a sounding board for department supervisors.* Participates in the department hiring, promotion, when necessary corrective action is taken, and review process while managing, mentoring and improving support staff performance.Coaches and develops team to ensure we are meeting the needs of the company and the staff in order to maintain productivity and to maintain staff morale.* Exercises awareness about possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department.Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.* Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.Manager, Post Closing REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge/Skill/Ability * Advanced knowledge of mortgage closing documents.* Advanced knowledge of Post-Closing policies, processes, and practices.* Requires strong organizational skills and must be detail oriented in order to perform each job duty proficiently.* Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to interpret what is needed and the ability to resolve issues that may not always be clearly stated.* Exemplifies the Gateway Values: Growth Oriented, Make a Difference, "Get it Done" Attitude, Team Player, Street Smart.Equivalent Education/Experience * Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.* 7 years of Mortgage Post Closing and/or Loan Processing Experience .
