Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Manager, Technical Accounting and Policy, will serve as a technical accounting subject matter expert with respect to the company’s generally accepted accounting policies, and ensure quality and timeliness of financial guidance throughout the company’s finance organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and support the maintenance of accounting policies across the NBCUniversal operating segments
Collaborate with divisions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and assist in resolving questions
Perform research on accounting, industry trends
Coordinate with Comcast and external auditors on technical accounting matters
Support lease accounting matters
Monitor standard setter activity and implement emerging accounting pronouncements
Maintain contract approval system and accounting database
Work closely with corporate groups related to implementation of accounting standards and recognition/reporting of complex accounting matters and transactions
Assist with the preparation of annual and quarter financial information reporting to Comcast
Assist in the review of standalone financial statements
Support the organization of global accounting trainings

Qualifications/Requirements

CPA required
Minimum of 4 years big four audit experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance, MBA is a plus
Experience with performing complex accounting research and technical activities
