Market Data Business Analyst, AVP – Procurement

What will you be doing?
•Management of demand through understanding the business requirement in relation to the specific role and how that pertains to a market data toolset
•Be the primary interface with the business for all matters pertaining to the provision and use of market data services.
•Assist in the creation of the annual market data budget for the business
•Work in conjunction with the user base, business manager’s, legal, compliance and Market Data Vendor Management to review contractual rights to use in relation to our use of market data services and content
•Assist with the management of the global market data inventory to ensure data consistency and integrity
What we’re looking for:
•5 years’ Investment banking or financial markets industry experience
•5 years’ in a business facing role in a major financial institution
•3+ years’ supporting an Equity sales and trading business in investment bank as a market data business analyst
Skills that will help you in the role:
•An understanding of the major Global Equity Exchanges, their commercial policies and how they pertain to the operation of the Equity business in the investment bank
•An understanding of the Equity Exchanges policies around use of their content and the impact of those on the Equity business in the Investment Bank
•Experience in the regulatory environment as it pertains to the Equity business and managing the impact of regulatory change within the Equity business
•An understanding of reference data and data warehouses
•Market data inventory experience with MDM
