Marketing Events Manager

Essential Responsibilities

• Enhance the overall productivity of the Event Marketing team by supporting the production of global branded and industry events
• Design and produce visual elements for multiple channels - ability to design for scale (100x100 ad or large-scale experiential graphics)
• Create and manage project timelines and work back plan; oversee core event work stream(s); ensure deliverables and milestones are met and act as the primary point of contact for these events
• Support and coordinate logistics and production for events (which may include onsite set up, lodging and transportation)
• Manages relationships with agency, event, and platform partners
• Excel in the knowledge and application of event management technologies including CVENT to support the execution of event management
• Track and report on key event status metrics throughout the event cycle
• Budget management and activation for event activities
• Act as the primary liaison to the Marketing Operations team, manage PO submission, and workflow process
• Manage global events calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts and maximize awareness amongst key stakeholders
• Organizes OpMechs for event/exhibit planning and preparation in conjunction with Marketing leadership and teams
• Partners with GEHC Digital storytelling leadership (Creative Technologist, Creative Director) on story priorities
• Support the preparation of executive presentation materials
• Monitor event industry trends to stay contemporary and cutting edge in the application of technology and design of customer experience
• Drives proactive cross-functional communication around production timelines and processes
• Early ability to forecast resource needs based on workload across the organization
• Act as a key contributor in developing best practices in event marketing process & performance monitoring

Role Summary/Purpose

Lead and produce events with a key focus on customer experience, brand promotion, thought leadership and sales enablement. Interface with business leadership, and within communications, product management, product marketing and sales functions to ensure coordinated messaging and demand generation.


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
• 5 years of professional experience which includes large event or exhibit management experience
• Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Flexible location-based in continental U.S.
