The Marketing Manager, Guest Recognition will report to the Marketing Director, Homes Guest and be based in San Francisco. S/he will be responsible for developing guest-facing marketing programs and campaigns that increase guest loyalty and engagement. S/he will be responsible for defining the marketing roadmap from strategy to execution and will collaborate with cross-functional teams including regional marketing, guest product, data science and our internal creative teams to bring ideas to life. S/he will balance strong creative and analytical skills, be relentlessly detail oriented, and be a thoughtful communicator. Success in this role is defined by finding ways to articulate the value of being part of our guest community and to deepen our guests’ commitment to Airbnb.


Role & Responsibilities


- Define the guest recognition marketing strategy, key projects and roadmap, by leveraging data and insights about our guest community

- Lead execution of marketing campaigns across channels including product, email, partnerships and paid marketing. S/he will also coordinate across cross-functional teams including PR and Airbnb Magazine to amplify the impact of the program

- Partner with cross functional teams and external partners to build a suite of benefits that enable us to reward our top guests

- Partner with our loyalty product team to define the audience, value proposition and go to market plan for the launch of our guest loyalty program

- Partner with Guest Product Managers on marketing initiatives related to our guest community such as launching new product features or announcing new partnerships

- Continually monitor the competitive landscape and how other brands are positioning and evolving their loyalty programs and cascade learnings and recommendations to the team

- Manage creative agencies and/or an in-house creative team

- Support localization of global campaigns


Requirements


- 12+ years in a marketing role, preferably with experience at a fast paced startup or technology company

- Proven track record of developing, executing and scaling high impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns

- A combination of analytical and creative abilities with an eye for great design

- Experience building loyalty programs and/or retention marketing strategy and execution

- Ability to easily incorporate market research and customer data into marketing strategies

- Ability to work autonomously, focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines

- Ability to manage and influence across highly cross-functional teams

- Experience in developing and managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets

- A passion for travel and desire to provide a relevant, inspiring experience to guests and to contribute to building an iconic and lasting brand
