Yabu Pushelberg is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join the growing Brand Strategy team.
The Team currently encompasses Business Development, Marketing, and PR/Communications and is responsible for the way the company engages with the outside world.
This includes everything from sourcing and procuring new work and negotiating complex contracts and legal matters, to coordinating all press initiatives, interviews and managing global events.
This position is integral to supporting all aspects delivered by this team and is best suited for someone interested in design firm operations and brand positioning.
This position reports to the Director of Brand Strategy and will work closely alongside the current PR and BD Coordinators.
This position is an integral part of the team, assisting with planning, developing and executing key marketing, communications and business development projects.
Responsibilities: Create and maintain processes to organize key information such as previous presentations, key contacts, event planning templates and resources, budgets and project plans.
Support the BD team to create tailored responses to RFQs/RFPs and create custom packages and pitch presentations Coordinate all partner/fabricator agreements alongside our Industrial Design team Update all marketing collateral, including resumes, project materials, databases, and profile documents In coordination with in-house PR, oversee updates to the firm's website, including managing in-house development tools such as cloud-based portfolio applications and other marketing materials Develop presentations for interviews and conferences in coordination with in-house PR team Drafting original copy for marketing materials, including narratives and press award submissions Attend client meetings/visits and events as a representative of the firm alongside other team members
- candidates must be professional in demeanor and relatively comfortable in a Client-facing role, albeit a supporting one Support the team as appropriate with administrative tasks and general coordination, such as data entry, expense reports, travel planning, and scheduling Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 2+ years working in marketing in a relevant industry or work environment Excellent writing, editing, and communications skills; strong phone and email etiquette are imperative, and experience in copywriting or other creative writing is a plus Ability to work on multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and navigate an array of personality types, both internal and external Experience working and communicating with third parties is considered an asset, particularly across multiple cultures and languages Commitment to exemplary work quality and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook/365, and InDesign; accounting software (such as Deltek) a plusExcellent writing, editing, and communications skills; Characteristics and Attributes: Natural connector who works well with others internally and externally Problem solver Demonstrated strength in time management, organization and analytics The ability to shift and adapt to changing direction and priorities Exercises good judgement, shows initiative and is productive Passion for bringing a brand to life To apply, please send your covering letter and resume to: .
