Description

The Pressure Systems Integrity (PSI) Team is responsible for managing the mechanical integrity of the well lines, plant piping, vessels and tanks in operation in Prudhoe Bay, AK. As owners of these equipment classes, the PSI team is responsible for upholding their safe operating limits through inspection and repair to enable safe and reliable Oil and Gas production in Prudhoe Bay. This role will work within a team of similar engineers and inspection specialists to set inspection strategies, perform fitness for service assessments, provide engineering repair solutions and identify key safety or reliability threats within the equipment classes.
This position requires significant team interaction with Field Inspectors, Facility Operators, Field Maintenance Technicians and multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Process, Corrosion) to strategically manage the equipment classes and tactically deliver solutions for safe and reliable production.

A high level of computer proficiency is required to analyze inspection data, develop stress analysis models and perform fitness for service assessments. Strong written and oral communication skills are also essential in order to effectively communicate across a wide range of front-line technicians, managers and regulatory agency personnel.

This position will be based in Anchorage, AK with an expectation for one or two-day field trips to Prudhoe Bay as needed (typically 10-20 days per year).
