Position: Mortgage System Administrator

Physical Location: Operations Campus Bldg A, 2910 W Jackson St, Tupelo, MS 38801

Reports To: Mortgage System Administration Supervisor

Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions

Job Group Category: Non-Exempt

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Mortgage System Administrator is to support and maintain the Mortgage Technology platforms and related systems and implement innovative and efficient solutions that support business needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


- System administration duties for mortgage systems, specifically for the Encompass loan origination platform including: configuration of settings and business rules, designing input forms, and user management


- Assist in the daily operations and maintenance activities of the Mortgage Data Administration team using administrative applications


- Work on mortgage technology-related projects and implementation


- Create, maintain, and update user access and setup configurations for Mortgage systems


- Assist Mortgage Production Support team as tier 2 support for mortgage employees


- Assist with special projects, development initiatives, efficiency improvements, and management requests


- Work with QA on testing procedures for mortgage systems


- Work with other Information Technology groups within the bank to ensure operational success between systems


Job Specifications: Required:


- BS/BA or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related area or equivalent in experience


- Proficient in the use of technology and administrative computer applications


- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


- String problem solving skills; ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action to resolve it


- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly both verbally and in writing


- Perform job functions accurately, completely, and in a timely manner


- Self-starter, team player mentality, and ability to maintain a positive attitude


Job Specifications: Preferred:


- Prior experience in a technology-related field


- Prior experience with Ellie Mae’s Encompass LOS or other mortgage systems administration


- Knowledge of and experience writing JavaScript and VB.Net code, or similar programming language experience


- Knowledge of SQL database structures and querying them
