As a .Net Application Development Advisor you will be responsible for providing development, architecture and best practice for Mail Order .NET applications. These applications include top tier applications such as Operations DataMart, Specialty Fax WorkFlow, FastStart, Check Clearing Services and Payment Without Orders. You will also serve as flex capacity when needed for the Dispensing and Automation Team.
In an applications development environment, the .Net Application Development Advisor must be proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned. Expected to champion software development lifecycle (SDLC) methods and best practices on the team to ensure quality standards are met. You will be responsible for the design/redesign, development and implementation of technical solutions, incorporating peripheral knowledge of other internal applications and related technologies in the analysis and design; as well as adhere to established methodologies, standards and guidelines.
7 years of progressive IT Professional experience
5 years of Microsoft related development required
5 years of consulting skills and project lead experience
5 years expertise in C# and ASP.NET
5 years of SQL and a data transfer products (SSIS or similar product) required
5 years of advanced knowledge of Windows Server, IIS and TCP/IP networks, Entity Framework, Web API and MVC
Working knowledge of DB2 and/or SQL databases, Angular,AngularJS, JQuery, Bootstrap and IIS7 is a plus.
Experience working with co-located teams preferred.
More than 8+ years of demonstrated leadership in application development or technical operations environment.
Experience providing effective solutions based on subject matter expertise.
Experience in leading technical aspects of a project effectively.
Experience managing customer requirements or demands.
Exposure to SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
Experience working with Team Foundations Server
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Will accept one year of experience for each year college not attained in addition to required years of experience
