What you’ll be doing...
You will deliver network security and other IT security consulting activities as a full time Engineer assigned to a customer location in the downtown San Francisco area. You will be part of a team working various security projects for the customer.
Performing technical responsibilities, which include a wide spectrum of business information security, network security, and routing and switching projects.
Assisting and providing leadership in a number of areas such as routing, switching, network segmentation, WAN design, datacenter design, access policies, and QoS.
Managing and consulting on technical issues of moderate to complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Consulting experience within a Professional Services organization and/or analysis experience within a Managed Services organization.
Experience with vulnerability and remediation, Network Hardening, Wireless, Multi factor authentication, Dynamic to Static routing migration.
Knowledge of firewall platforms, routing topology and use of protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP and BGP.
Knowledge of Internet Protocols (IP), firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and IDS/IPS, EIGRP, BGP, Static route, WAN design, Route map, VLAN, Spanning tree, ASR routers, ACS VPN, ASA firewalls, and VTP.
Even better if you have:
A degree involving analytics.
Five or more years of related work experience.
Knowledge of DDOS protection, Stack Switches, ASR routers, Visio, and Solarwind IPAM.
Industry certification such as CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CISSP, CCSE, and SANS GCFA.
Strong analytical and correlation skills.
Time management and results driven execution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present technical information to management and technical staff.
Ability to work from site two or more days per week and within reasonable travelling distance of the client onsite location.
