Job Description Summary:

Leads a warehousing operations by supervising activities within the warehouse i.e. goods in operations and goods out; directs activities of a small team of fork lift drivers, packers and general warehouse operatives. Leads/supervises a team of support or production operations employees; trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations.Responsibilities:


Minimum Requirements/Experience:


- Responsible for the training, evaluation, development and day-to-day management of warehouse, cooler, and relief team members within assigned node(s).
- Create and/or implement operational policy and procedures to ensure effective operations.
- Facilitate accurate time recording and timely submission to payroll for assigned node(s).
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse(s).
- Oversee all shipping and receiving functions within assigned node(s).  This will include product, remote route, cross-dock, display and cooler deliveries made either by common carrier or support staff.
- Follow all department and company policies and procedures, and participate in region/node objectives for continued improvement of systems and services.
- Collaborate with shared services on customer facing needs (invoice, POS, ordering, cooler and service issues).
- Develop and nurture service vendor relationship(s) in assigned region/node(s).
- Oversee all inventory management activities and ensure adherence to company policies/procedures.
- Schedule team members to meet the staffing demands of the assigned node(s).
- Collaborate with Cooler Team to determine cooler inventory and related budgetary issues.
- Assist and maintain appropriate support inventory of coolers and bar racks within assigned node. Collaborate with District Manager to ensure inventory/ordering is in line with current and forecasted needs. 
- Develop initiatives to maintain a safe and positive work environment.  Lead incident investigations and conduct safety trainings/certifications to meet company expectations.
- Maintain DOT & Regulatory Compliance, OSHA and product quality to our customers.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day fleet issues. Work with service vendors to ensure proper scheduling of maintenance and truck replacement if necessary.  
- Maintain all local/state/federal DOT fleet records and driver qualification file documents.
- Secure, maintain and inventory all company assets.
- Oversee all procurement and ensure purchases adhere to policy/budget within assigned node(s).
- Manage within OPEX and labor budgets.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of warehouse/fleet/refrigeration experience including supervisory experience. 
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and capable of designing and improving new systems and procedures. 
- Technical proficiency with Excel (financial and analytical), MS office. 
- Effective leadership and relationships with staff, vendors and customers. 
- Experience establishing and successfully managing an operating budget.
- Analytical skills to identify operational opportunities to streamline processes. 
- A clean DMV record and a valid driver’s license and a drug and background screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 125 lbs,
- Valid and up-to-date DOT medical card.


Minimum Requirements/Experience:


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of warehouse/fleet/refrigeration experience including supervisory experience. 
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and capable of designing and improving new systems and procedures. 
- Technical proficiency with Excel (financial and analytical), MS office. 
- Effective leadership and relationships with staff, vendors and customers. 
- Experience establishing and successfully managing an operating budget.
- Analytical skills to identify operational opportunities to streamline processes. 
- A clean DMV record and a valid driver’s license and a drug and background screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 125 lbs,
- Valid and up-to-date DOT medical card.
