Oracle Database Administrator-DAT0003N
Responsible for working with business area to determine overall database and application requirements. Using technical and analytical expertise, develops recommendations for database designs and prepares detailed specifications and flowcharts. Responsible for administering procedures for backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and performance analysis and database tuning. Coordinates the installation of systems. Determines and resolves problems in support of production databases. Provides training and technical assistance to more junior staff. Leads other to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
Experience in installing and upgrading Oracle 11g / 12c databases.
Experience with RMAN database backup and recovery.
Experience in Database Performance Tuning.
Experience with Dataguard setup and management.
Experience in configuring and managing Oracle RAC, Clusterware, grid infrastructure and Oracle ASM.
Unix, Linux, and Windows OS background.
Skilled in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
Experience with ODA or Engineered Systems is desirable.
5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.
