The Modern Life & Devices Team defines the consumer vision, product management, business plans and go-to-market strategy for the Modern Life Solution Area and Microsoft’s Devices business.  As one of the company’s largest multi-billion-dollar revenue businesses, the area includes the Windows platform and ecosystem, the Microsoft Surface device portfolio, Office 365 consumer services, Outlook, Skype, Microsoft’s intelligent agent in Cortana and search efforts with Bing, as well as the Microsoft Education Team.  To drive business growth and engagement with consumers, we must make smart bets on how to optimize, manage and augment our portfolio of products and underlying capabilities.
The Outlook Consumer PMM Lead is a key role within the Modern Life Product Marketing Team driving one of our largest and most used applications. This is an exciting opportunity to help define the value proposition and roadmap for one of our most important assets. The person in this role will lead a team of talented PMMs responsible for driving growth in both MAU and engaged usage, improving NPS and product quality, increasing cross service attach of additional Microsoft products and services and optimizing upsell to premium subscriptions. To be successful you will need to deeply understand the unarticulated needs of our customers and develop compelling insights into product development and partner closely with engineering and design leadership.
 Success in this role will depend on the ability to think creatively and developing a thoughtful point of view on how to best grow Outlook with consumers based on user needs understanding, strategic context, and market opportunity. You will need to communicate effectively and formalize plans by partnering well across the Modern Life & Devices leadership team and a broad set of stakeholders cutting across functions including engineering, design, and marketing.  Comfort in dealing with ambiguity, creativity, high degree of business acumen and analytical fluency together with willingness to take on challenges are essential for the role.
