Position Title:Part-time Faculty of Multimedia Journalism (Spring 2020) Position Number:10043416 Benefits Eligible:No Campus Location:Dahlonega General Summary:The Communication, Media & Journalism department seeks a part-time faculty member to teach multimedia journalism courses on the Dahlonega campus during the Spring 2020 semester. Specifically, the department needs someone to teach one section of News Writing and Reporting and one section of Intermediate News Writing and Reporting. Both courses are key requirements in the Multimedia Journalism major and should develop strong journalistic writing skills and ethics.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teaching one section of News Writing and Reporting and/or one section of Intermediate News Writing and Reporting
- Communicating with departmental colleagues regarding choice of text, common assignments, and standardized rubrics and grading
- Reporting grades in a timely manner
- Following all guidelines in the Faculty Handbook for part-time faculty

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed at least 18 hours of graduate-level coursework in journalism, digital media, mass communication, or related discipline, or possess the equivalent in professional experience.
