The Medical Billing Patient Services Associate’s primary responsibility is to fully support their clients from a patient accounts perspective, as well as following and maintaining documented processes and procedures.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork and resolve patient credit balances and return mail process from patient statements.Serve as the primary point of contact for patient calls/issues and inbound information requests.Verify patient insurance eligibility and contact patients if necessaryManage paper claim, patient collections and bad debt processes.Communicate and provide feedback/training to all vendor partners involved in client processes.Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of processes and procedures for each assigned client revolving around system use, payment rules, and client specific guidelines.Actively manage all patient accounts processes for assigned clients, monitor all metrics and complete internal task/project requests.Manage time effectively to meet all required deadlines and time-frames for client and department needs.Collaborate in a team environment with the Department Manager and other staff on a regular basis.Assist in certain client on-boarding projects from setup to go-live, as new clients are assigned.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws1-3 year’s medical billing or medical office experience preferredAbility to create and follow written procedure.Ability to provide professional written communication and excellent customer service.Technical proficiency with computers, basic Microsoft software, and medical software systems (PM/EHR)High-school diplomaDESIRED SKILLSTime management and self-accountabilityAbility to learn new processes and procedures quicklyStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentBENEFITSMedical, Dental, and Vision401k Retirement PlanPTO and EIBIncentive BonusFlexible Working HoursSchedule: Full-time
