We have an exciting opportunity for a strong M&A Project Manager Americas Payroll team.
Cognizant is looking for a suitable candidate to handle M&A-focused Payroll projects in the America
. This position is based out of College Station, TX
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll M&A due diligence and integration, including, but not limited to:
Manage Payroll M&A activities as they relate to integration into Cognizant systems.  Coordinate with all stakeholders and integration teams. Create and maintain project plans for multiple concurrent projects.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with leadership as well as team members.
Consult with leadership and review project proposals to determine priorities, goals, time frame, funding requirements/limitations, procedures for completing projects and allocation of resources.
Assist with the implementation of new or special pay programs and legal entity set-up with ADP and PeopleSoft.
Create and review test scripts, and validate that testing scenarios appropriately verify accuracy of system change results.
Prepare communications regarding M&A integrations.
Determine priorities and allocate time effectively, to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Assist with special assignments, as needed.
Basic qualifications:
Five years’ experience in Payroll project management.
Thorough understanding of Payroll & Payroll Tax concepts, practices and procedures.
Expert understanding of ADP EV5 Payroll including ADPR skills.
Expert personal computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong data manipulation/data validation skills.
Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
Proven time management skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting or Finance
CPP Certification
Thorough understanding of PeopleSoft HCM
