This is a direct-client opening for a Web Analytics Specialist located in Merrimack, NH. This is a Permanent position. Local candidates are preferred but if not, relocation assistance will be provided to non local candidates.
Working under minimal supervision of the Manager, Digital Marketing, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Web Analytics Specialist conducts in-depth analyses of consumer behavior and website performance, which drive the optimization of engagement and commerce on the organization's websites. The Specialist collaborates with the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce teams to create the web analytics strategy, to build buy-in to the attendant metrics, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data, to analyze the raw data to support the decision-making process, and to share insights and recommendations with the broader stakeholder team.
Additionally, the Web Analytics Specialist works collaboratively to develop, scope and implement digital initiatives to drive conversion rate optimization. To improve the website experience and increase conversions, the Specialist uses A/B testing to identify areas for improvement on the websites, working with stakeholders (i.e. UX/UI Manager) to implement changes, and analyze the impact of these changes.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Four plus years of experience in analytics, digital marketing, e-commerce or similar environment with a B2B focus.
Hands-on use of website analytics solutions, preferably IBM Digital Analytics (formerly Coremetrics) and Google Analytics.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel with ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, including v-lookup, and pivot tables.
Previous use of A/B and multivariate testing tools, such as Google Optimize.
Experience with website performance monitoring solutions, such as Gomez, Akamai, Webpagetest.org.
Basic understanding of website architecture and web development skills, including HTML/CSS and CMS systems, with ability to engage with the development team.
Understanding of website engagement and transactional metrics, as well as online purchasing behavior, trends and clickstreams.
Quantitative and analytical skills with ability to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Analytical (data-driven) approach to plan, execute, and review website improvement projects.
Collaboration skills with ability to work with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
Communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Organizational and project management skills with ability to plan and implement website changes
Multi-tasking skills with ability to manage different projects at various stages of development.
