Job Description
As a Pharmacy Technician II – Doctor Calls, you will be responsible for making outbound calls, taking inbound calls, entering patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing the physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. The Pharmacy Technician II is essential to ensuring incomplete prescriptions are resolved after clarification is obtained, and complete the appropriate described patient letter. The Pharmacy Technician II position is responsible for interacting with physician offices and internal partners to ensure to maximize workflow.

As part of the Pharmacy Technician II – Doctor Calls team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your Pharmacy Technician skills and experiences to work in a front-end setting. CVS is a national leader in pharmaceuticals, and you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information technologies and channels.

The position is Work From Home (WFH) after an initial training period of approximately 30-90 days depending on speed to proficiency. Must be able to attend training onsite. Employment offers are contingent upon passing a home inspection/audit - criteria to be discussed during the interview.

Required Qualifications
- Must have an active Idaho Trainee Pharmacy Technician Registration OR Idaho Registered Pharmacy Technician Required

Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Call Center Experience
- Reside within 60 miles of the onsite location – can be waived, provided applicants can attend training and occasional meetings at the facility when required, at their own expense.
- 3 months of Pharmacy Technician experience

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
