A hospital in Texas needs to hire a hospitalist. The block schedule is 7 on and 7 off, 12-hour shifts from 2 pm to 2 am doing primarily admissions. There may be some cross coverage needed, but this is rare as they have several hospitalists covering during the day and a nocturnist from 7 pm. You will average 11 to 12 admissions with an APC that assists from 3 pm to 2 am. Candidates must be board certified IMs with an active Texas medical license in-hand.
This independent contractor position has a $325k or more earning potential. You will also receive paid malpractice insurance.
