In addition, you will have the opportunity to pick up other types of shifts within the healthcare system, like hospitalist.
An interest or training in addiction medicine and infectious disease are important.

Depending on how much time you spend at the detox unit verses being a regular hospitalist, will determine the exact compensation value.
