Job Description
Gore Medical Products has provided creative therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for 40 years, saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide. As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are in search of a Planning Leader to join the Planning Team in Phoenix, AZ.

In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity of the Demand, Supply and Inventory plans created by the planners within their scope, including the execution of all business processes (S&OP related activities). You will coach, mentor and influence the Supply Chain (SC) function within your area.  You are directly responsible for performance and development conversations, contribution and compensation, and function as a hiring champion.  Planning leaders are local leadership representation.  They lead divisional projects and drive local continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:
Supply Chain Strategy & Execution:
•       Leading the planning teams to execute the supply chain strategy including inventory
•       Identifying and applying best planning policies to satisfy supply chain partners
•       Balancing the team’s focus on daily objectives, meeting customer commitments, in support of supply chain strategies
S&OP
•       Responsible for the demand, supply and inventory plans created by the planning associates in their organization
•       Execution of S&OP policies and practices
Talent Management (in alignment with Supply Chain Leader and Divisional Planning Leader)
•       Facilitating performance and development discussions for associates on their team
•       Managing all performance issues
•       Conducting contribution and compensation process
•       As the Hiring Champion assuring successful onboarding of new associates
•       Providing coaching and mentoring for associates within the function
Process & Metrics
•       Driving functional excellence locally
•       Maintaining metrics, managing gaps and solutions
 Tools
•       Driving compliance and tool utilization in line with best practices
Champion & deliver improvements:
•       Identifying and leading local projects
Partnerships and Interdependencies:
·       Supply Chain Leaders: a point of escalation and resolution and talent management

·       DPLs:  establishing goals, objectives, resourcing, talent management, and priorities

Key Accountabilities:
·       Talent Management: Compensation & Contribution (C&C), Product Data Management (PDM), Hiring, Coaching/Mentoring, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)

·       Integrity of the Demand, Supply and Inventory Plans performed by their planning teams

·       Driving Continuous Improvement

Qualifications
 
Required Job Qualifications:
·       Minimum of 10 years demonstrated Supply Chain experience

·       In absence of a bachelor’s degree, (Supply Chain, Business or Technical  Field), at least 5 years in SC
