Functions Technology sits within Group Technology and provides technology solutions for the firm’s Functions including Compliance, Human Resources, Head Office (includes Internal Audit, Corporate Secretariat, Corporate Relations), Group Service Company, Legal, Procurement, and CRES Technologies. Our mission is to deliver a simplified, automated and integrated ecosystem of tools and applications enabling our Functions to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Compliance PMO sits within Functions Technology and partners with the PM community to establish and maintain a change portfolio of work that assures alignment to the Execution Risk Governance Standard (ERGS) and Change Delivery Controls Standard (CDCS). Specifically, establishing clarity of roles and responsibilities in governing change portfolios, providing effective oversight, reporting and monitoring progress of change portfolios, and providing effective oversight and management of delivery processes.
What will you be doing?
•Support the Compliance PMO function and strategy. The individual will have governance ownership for a set of projects and will work closely with the PMs to deliver to the Execution Risk Governance Standard (ERGS) and Change Delivery Controls Standard (CDCS), reducing execution risk for the firm
•Partner with PMs on governance requirements, including the completion of outlined business plans (OBCs), detailed business plans (DBCs), and control self-assessments (CSAs); check and challenge to meet the highest governance standards
•Establish and maintain governance council meetings; partner with senior leadership to set agenda, produce meeting materials, and take minutes; present and escalate governance issues and drive remediation
•Be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects covered in partnership with PMs, including financials and delivery requirements
•Partner with all levels of the organization to govern project execution; interact with senior management across Functions Technology
•Establish a comprehensive understanding of the Compliance operating model and objectives
•Be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects, including financials and delivery requirements
What we’re looking for:
•3 years’ experience in a financial services firm
•3 years’ experience in technology project management space
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Strong stakeholder management to Executive level
•Strong presentation skills
