Process Architect Lead (AVP)
Whippany, NJ

The RFT COO provides strategic and Subject Matter Expert (SME) direction and governance regarding the delivery of Processes, Technology, Operations and Program Management for the Risk, Finance and Treasury functional groups.  Our purpose in Process Transformation is to identify, design and implement enhanced business processes that support the organization in creating resource capacity to meet strategic business objectives. Specifically, this means to consolidate, streamline and simplify the generation, analysis and visualization of Risk onto strategic platforms by taking and enhancing existing best of breed solutions from across teams and migrating other asset classes onto those solutions.

We are looking for a Process Architect Lead which partners with Risk, Finance and Treasury functions across the Barclays Group, to document, deliver and measure process optimization activities ensuring engagement is transparent and aligned to the firm’s purpose.

What will you be doing?
•Direct number of work streams simultaneously focused on identifying process optimization opportunities
•Identify process automation opportunities and clear operating models in designing new target state business processes
•Perform root cause analysis in designing the target state and driving through greater levels of standardization
•Advanced skills in effective stakeholder management along with advanced problem-solving skills
•Support the development of team members in identifying strengths and weaknesses
•Undertake analysis of current and future state business processes to identify optimization opportunities as part of the operating model design
•Act as subject matter experts navigating through the standard development life cycle including cost estimates of investment and capacity release to support business case proposals 

What we’re looking for:
•Bachelors’ Degree (BS) or equivalent
•7 years’ experience in business analysis handling large projects and supporting delivery
•7 years’ Process re-engineering experience/qualifications (Lean, Six Sigma or TOGAF)
 
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Extensive experience in managing large scale projects by using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies along with Effectively operate in a fast paced environment characterized by ambiguity
•Previous experience in organizational analysis and design
•Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project and Visio
•Knowledge of Project Lifecycle methods (Software Development Lifecycle, Agile) and understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
