Product Manager, Intern/Co-op-Fall 2019

Position Summary:

Complete a three, six, nine or twelve month session between or in conjunction with college semesters or quarters working as a member of the Digital Experience team. Support Product Management and Technology Development teams to drive execution of the customer journey amongst various product portfolios. Coordinate with product managers to prioritize and rank project backlogs, so development teams are able to plan work increments. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions:

Identify existing website and native app capabilities to determine future enhancements
Liaison between product managers and product owners to ensure implementation of planned epics align with acceptance criteria
Assist the product manager in conducting strategic conversations with key stakeholders; work with internal/external technology partners to create detailed epics with clearly defined deliverables
Review new product features with product managers to establish priorities and rank features across initiatives
Maintain product documentation, including near-term delivery/releases; report to Product Management team on progress and coordinate with them on where adjustments need to be made
Assist with defining key product performance indicators, and implement protocols that enable us to gauge/measure product performance to support future product enhancements
Utilize web metrics, customer metrics and internal operational metrics to summarize and make enhancement recommendations that clarify the product vision and improve upon the customer experience
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education: 

Currently pursuing an associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Experience in online marketing, user-interface design and/or business technology
Excellent written/oral communication, organization and analytical skills
Ability to identify metrics and key performance measures in order to drive decisions
Ability to interact well in a team environment
Desired Previous Job Experience:

E-commerce experience
Experience in a professional work environment
Experience managing multiple priorities between school, work and/or extracurricular activities
Involvement in extracurricular and community activities while showing potential leadership traits
