Each month, Bazaarvoice sees more than 800 million people read reviews, questions and answers about millions of products through the Bazaarvoice network.This is an incredible opportunity for any product owner to be a part of a team that makes a meaningful difference in the quality and scope of information available to consumers making purchase decisions and the brands and retailers serving them.What You’ll Be Doing:Interpreting high level business and product requirements and creating feature requirements, user stories and relevant product backlog items.Writing system requirement specifications in user stories, using the higher-level product management requirements as a guide.Conducting analysis work to understand and fine-tune user and system requirementsPrioritizing the work/backlog to satisfy delivery milestones and deliver client value.Ensuring that all engineering teams within your purview have everything they need to size, accept and execute on work.Assisting in preparing engineering demos.Actively participating in engineering planning and demo meetings.Collaborating with engineering leaders to organize review meetings.Serving as a liaison with management, engineering, and stakeholders to provide regular updates on product development and operations.Collaborate with the product manager on building the product vision and road-map.Serve as an advocate for your technology in discussions with clients.Work with the technical service teams and product knowledge team to build internal training and documentation.Collaboratively define the Definition of Done’ and Ready’ criteria.Being the connective tissue between the product managers and the various engineering teams that work on the How of the business objectives.Essential Criteria:3+ years of experience as a Product OwnerPrior development experience a plusUndergraduate degree in related fieldExperience in Lean Product Management and agile development methodologiesProven track record of delivering value added software products and featuresEvidential experience working effectively in a cross-functional global environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insightsDemonstrated experience at meeting facilitationDemonstrated ability to lead by influenceDemonstrated experience at successfully managing multiple projects and deliverablesComfortable prioritizing work and meeting deadlinesComfortable organizing and meeting with clients to gather and document requirementsWilling to travel 10-25%Strong sense of ownership and accountabilityDesired Criteria:MBA or Masters in Marketing or BusinessCPO trained and certifiedEntrepreneurial spirit for building new capabilities/businesses within an existing organizationExperience launching new software products to marketSolid technical depthExcellent problem solvingFull-timeIf the description above sounds appealing to you, but you're looking for a flexible work situation please apply.
