Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in data analytics, program management and/or management of products, programs, and/or processes.
Experience with Google Drive (Sheets, Slides, and Docs).
People management experience
Preferred qualifications:
BS or MS in engineering, macroeconomics, mathematics, finance, statistics or similar quantitative field
Experience working with physical or information security concepts, and/or experience with organizational resilience management initiatives
Experience in data visualization tools and techniques
Track record of successful people management experience
Conceptual, logical and physical data modeling and data architecture knowledge
About the job
We’re looking for a senior-level research and data analysis team lead who will work closely with Google’s Global Security & Resilience Services (GSRS) leads and cross-functional teams to help drive program analytics and contribute to the sustainability of Google’s core business resilience programs. Research, data analysis, and reporting help GSRS analyze the effectiveness of our security and resilience programs that enable Google’s ability to thrive in the face of adversity anywhere in the world.
In this role, you’ll work side by side with your global GSRS peers, and where additional collaboration may be required, with cross-functional Google partners like Technical Infrastructure, Network Operations, and Corporate Engineering. Together, we help GSRS deliver high-quality, measurable, innovative services that embrace change and innovation, scale easily, and constantly improve. Data, analytics and performance reporting also help GSRS sustain its high level of service delivery and is one of the enablers to providing consistency and quality, standardization of processes, resource optimization, and execution excellence.
We need a leader with deep program management expertise in analytics and research; a concrete track record of delivering successful, measurable program analytics; and, experience in performance reporting. You naturally use data to inform decisions and measure success, ensure thoughtful, timely tactical execution, and have significant program and people management experience. You easily build positive internal and cross-functional partnerships, and inspire trust from your team and colleagues.
From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Provide complex, research and data analysis, and performance reporting for security and resilience-related disciplines
Articulate concepts, processes and services, socialize initiatives, and influence buy-in at all levels
Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes
Integrate third-party products with internal systems, where required
