The Senior Program Coordinator manages the day to day operation of the Pilot Selection process. Manages the on-boarding process for all CJO holders. Manages class rosters, and tracking of acceptance, declines and deferrals of classes. Participates as a panelist in candidate interviews, and provides back-up support to Test Proctor. Works in conjunction with Endeavor Air to handle Delta Guaranteed Interview for eligible Endeavor pilots. Handles oversight of COG Screen and NEO Psych test administration. Coordinates with Crew Resources/Training to ensure pilot supply to Indoctrination classes, and interfaces daily with cross-divisional executives. Actively participates in recruitment/career fairs. Provides follow up and feedback to the Manager of Pilot Selection and the Manager of Pilot Development.

Position requires excellent leadership and organizational skills to ensure office and records will always be in compliance with applicable Federal regulations and Delta procedures. Should be able to effectively supervise and/or manage multiple complex administrative and/or personnel issues simultaneously. Should have the ability to exercise sound judgment and be flexible in a changing environment. Should exhibit initiative, innovation, and be highly motivated, self-directed and proactive in order to work effectively under time constraints and with minimal supervision. A high level of experience in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access are a must. Candidate must possess above average communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts across several departments and organizations, including outside vendors. Must be customer service oriented and have strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to relate and understand the pilot profession in order to maintain an attitude of pilot advocacy for each pilot candidate. Must have interviewer experience. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
