Project Industrial Manager
Purpose of the Job
Ensures on Alstom behalf a close follow-up the management of industrial data’s, the parts supply and the bogie assembly by the partner during the development and production phase
Missions are the following ones:
- Be the local representative of ALSTOM for the assistance to the partner in charge of AMTRAK (and/or others projects) bogie supply
- Be the guarantor of the quality of bogie manufactured by the partner
- Support the partner for the supply of bogie components in terms of quality an scheduling
- Ensure that baseline project planning is respected at the start of production
- Ensure internal FAI are performed on schedule
- Organize the assistance of ALSTOM experts to the partner
- During production phase, ensure a first filtering regarding technical issues (NCR,…); transmit issues to LCR if needed (Safety related NCR,…); ensure that each technical issue raised by a supplier is answered by Alstom
- Support the partner for ramping up to achieve the nominal rate of production
Educational Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineer
Master Degree will be an additional improvement
English Fluent
Desired Knowledge / Experience
Experience of Bogie (Industrial and Quality)
Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering , Supplier Quality and Project Quality management
Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
Knowledge of bogie expert network
