Project ManagerOur client is seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for leading project activities from initiation through production implementation. This person will serve as the primary liaison between the client and the engineering team, and be experienced in managing all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle process to include project planning, execution and client satisfaction.Here's what you'll be doing:Developing schedules, managing the deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks, collaborating with key stakeholders, and executing the schedule in accordance with the terms and conditions of the projectManaging a small team of engineers, and analysts while reporting to the Program Manager and the client's assigned Contracting Officer's RepresentativeWorking directly with government customers, analysts, and engineers to identify and document requirements, perform detailed analysis/design, and support the development of the solution in accordance with system/product architecturesWorking with the program management team to scope and estimate new efforts or customer requests as neededProviding routine status and or project reports to project stakeholdersManaging/mentoring a small team of analystsWorking with solution engineers and perform design tradeoffs and develop solutions in accordance the terms and conditions of the projectSupporting technical tasks as part of project execution and customer supportHere's what our ideal candidate has:U.S. Citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is requiredBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or related field)10+ years related experience, preferably in software, networks, IT product, etc.Ability to lead highly technical teams on a challenging project and manage the deliverables and technical baselinesExperience with government software development life cycle (SDLC) framework and artifacts, and delivering on tasks performed at each step in the software development processAbility to interface directly with customers to ensure job requirements are metAbility to develop and deliver effective customer presentations (design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, test plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a technical levelA detailed technical understanding of the work to be performedPMP certification is a plusExperience as a Federal Government contractor or working in a government setting is a plusDirect experience managing within different FFP, LOE, T&M contract vehicles is a plusWork experience with the Social Security Administration, CMS, Department of Veterans Affairs, or other larger government agency is a plusContract
