JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is for the Nutrition Division of Abbott. They is no relocation offered for this role.


Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

·Responsible for managing projects or sub-projects, both domestic and international, from beginning to

end, with accountability for project execution.

·Provide project management to meet Division strategies and business objectives (CJR)

·Deliver project excellence by incorporating best practices in project management to meet and or exceed customer needs (CJR)

·Identify process issues and recommend improvements to team members and management

·Act as point of contact for project reporting & updates to Business Unit (CJR)

·Provide support as required to Program or Portfolio Management (CJR)

Major Responsibilities:

·Collaborate with Team in establishing ground rules and chartering team

·Follow a clearly defined project scope; develop and manage project plan to meet deliverables

·Facilitate completion of project documentation

·Participate in project assessments and communicate lessons learned

·Responsible for project close-out processes

·Facilitate project team members through the project management process

·May create and deliver project review presentations to Business Unit leadership as necessary

·Document project plan in Project Management (PM) software and maintain project documentation

·Manage cross-functional project timeline and follow-up with project team members to ensure timely

completion of tasks

·Collaborate with representatives from appropriate functional areas across the Division to meet project

objectives

·Drive for results and timely decision-making


Education:

Bachelor’s degree required, PMP certification desirable
