Planning & Change Delivery (PCD) is looking for an AVP Project Manager to ultimately join our Whippany, New Jersey location. The PCD Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful implementation of medium to large-scale projects across all areas of the Bank (e.g. Marketing, Technology, Customer Care, Credit, Collections, Bank Ops, Fraud, etc.)  Candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, problem solving, communication and analytical skills and must be able to work in a fast paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.  This includes managing projects through all phases including Planning, Initiation, Delivery, Implementation and Closeout; collaborating with Project Sponsor to refine the scope and success criteria of the project; ensuring the project is delivered on time, to budget, to the required quality standard with full adherence to the SDLC standards and Project Management Best Practices; identifying the project risks, escalation as appropriate, and ensuring subsequent mitigations are invoked; managing “change” in adherence to the change delivery process; managing communications for the project to all stakeholders; and ensuring the project is effectively resourced, utilizing resources in an efficient manner, and maintaining a co-operative, motivated, and successful team. The purpose of Planning & Change Delivery is to help shape the Portfolio by driving alignment to Strategy and Value, facilitate discovery and solidify Change Definition, manage bank-wide capacity planning and prioritization, lead the quality delivery of bank-wide and technology change, and define organizational change methodology and governance model.

What will you be doing?
•Organize project teams by identifying areas of needed expertise and required skills
•You will manage overall delivery of project across all bank functions including requirements gathering, design, build/customization, integration, and testing
•Identify, assess impact of and resolve project issues and conflicts with business partners, management and/or project team
•You will support budget tracking and variance mitigation efforts
•Provide current status and updates on programs as requested with executive management, business partners and internal project teams
•Promote improvements to Project Delivery Tools and Methodology
•Internal: Establish strong contact with all bank functions, act as central hub
•External: Coordinate, act as day-to-day project contact with technology and business vendors

What we’re looking for:
•Bachelor's degree
•3 or more years of project management experience
•2 or more years operating in an Agile delivery environment

Skills that will help you in the role:
•Experience delivering programs with budgets of $2M+ that span multiple business and technology areas
•Project/strategic planning and business background with understanding of assigned areas of responsibility
•Advanced Business Analysis
•Problem Analysis & Resolution
