QA Automation Lead
Whippany, NJ

As a Quality Assurance Automation lead in the Portal Identity and Access Management group within the Client Facing Technology group, you'll be part of a team that develops an enterprise scale web portal supporting over 500,000 colleagues and customers.  The custom-built platform includes a provisioning application, an authorization and authentication engine, a digital analytics platform and a suite of portal control technologies. You'll drive initiatives that will enable us to build scalable and secure engineering solutions that will be leveraged by colleague and customer facing applications. You’ll also provide thought leadership, quick prototyping and development services for the various clients of our CFT services such as Banking, Compliance, Sales and Research.
 
What will you be doing?
•Lead QA automation work stream for the Investment Bank’s Research distribution platform in account management space. In this role, the individual will be expected to help in coming up with a consistent testing strategy and plan that will enable us to perform integration tests, load tests and performance tests in a more stream lined manner.
•Will be responsible to work directly with the stakeholders and perform demos and walk through around new features being released for any milestone releases.
•Drive improvements to the software development practices used for test automation
•Partner with other teams to share automation libraries/best practices
•Experience working within a global team (US, UK and India preferred)

What we’re looking for:
•Computer science degree or some development/programming experience
•Minimum of 5 year’s test automation experience
•One+ year SQL experience
•Understanding of and experience in implementing automation test tools such as SOAPUI, Selenium, Groovy, Cucumber

Skills that will help you in the role:
•Experience implementing and adapting Unit Testing frameworks such as NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, mocking solutions, etc.
•Experience with Performance engineering using tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter
•Experience with test techniques such as Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD and BDD)
•Sharp, quick, aggressive ability to deal with business and system problems and
•Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies & applications a must.
