Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer will assist the members of the Rides, Quality and Engineering team in the overall operations and projects related to the quality, reliability, record keeping, filing, auditing, training, data entry, and incident analysis and function within and outside of the Technical Services Department.  Coordinates, audits, and tracks compliance safety functions as required by Authorities Having Jurisdiction, in order to ensure regulatory compliance throughout USH. Performs other administration tasks and support duties as assigned.
Utilizes knowledge of department and company to assist in the coordination, tracking, analyzing assets and safety compliance, projects, communications and tasks. 
 
Responsibilities: 

Responsible for developing and sustaining Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program plans, leading RCM program execution, and developing practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. This position will require an in-depth knowledge of RCM activities and will have responsibility for work that is less defined in scope in order to execute business objectives
Develop Predictive Maintenance (PdM) routines to mature Technical Service operations to move the business from corrective to preventative maintenance
Responsible for all aspects of leading quality initiatives including analyzing requirements, modeling, writing specifications, managing suppliers, leading teams, managing cost and schedule, validating sub-systems, verification and demonstration, and providing support for testing
Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned projects for the RCM and PdM functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Document technical data generated by the assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
Perform maintainability prediction analysis (Mean Time To Replace (MTTR), Maximum Maintenance Time (Mmax), Remove / Replace, Reliability Centered Maintenance using accepted methodologies, such as MIL-HDBK-470A, MIL-HDBK-472, ATA MSG-3
Perform reliability and maintainability analysis and be able to present the data to different management levels
Perform testability / Built-In Test (BIT) analysis using accepted methodologies, such as MIL-HDBK-2165
Develop Reliability, Maintainability and Testability (RMT) demonstration programs in accordance with accepted methodologies
Works with Rides & Attractions to review risk assessments on an ongoing basis while driving action items to ensure safety, compliance and reliability
Supports the development and implementation of work and process flows within Technical Services to ensure that best practices, safety policies, procedures, and manuals are updated and accurate
Maintains records and prepares reports for executive and technician audience
Participates in  reward and recognition, employee events, and ESAT action planning
Maintains complete confidentiality on all claim-related matters and incidents as well as department information
Develops and implements programs to improve client and employee satisfaction. Ensure appropriate and timely investigation and responses to guest and employee concerns
Performs other duties as assigned

 
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, physical sciences or related from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability, quality engineering or related discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Understanding of the principles of the entire engineering development process, the associated documentation flow and associated tools
• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management in a collaborative environment, and willingness to give assistance to Team Members
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence others
• Strong technical aptitude, including engineering tools and systems
• Strong oral and written
