Vendor Management team is responsible for third party oversight of strategic vendor relationships supporting global claims processing. This position reports to the Director of Vendor Management, Quality, and Compliance. The main responsibilities of this role include quality review for claim and service, process and procedure development, and training.
Supports Global quality initiative for claims including auditing international claims, reviewing error trending for possible training opportunities, and reporting metrics
Clearly documents new policy and procedures that will support global claim and service. Communicates updates to appropriate business partners.
Trains appropriate regional service centers and departments on new or updated policies, procedures, systems, etc.
Assists in setting metrics to monitor and measure process performance to ensure customers are receiving an exceptional service experience.
Open to cross training opportunities including auditing customer service and administration
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
3-4 years of related work experience; working knowledge of the functions, processes, and systems in the medical claim and customer service area.
Working knowledge of international medical claim processing
Broad knowledge of: Analytical Thinking, Relationship Management, Effective Communications, Process Management, Cultural Awareness
Broad knowledge of supported business functions, processes, systems, and transactions.
Bilingual is desired.
