The Global Markets division offers a broad range of
financial products and services to consumer driven businesses and also supports
Credit Suisse's global wealth management businesses and their clients. It is a

The Credit Suisse Program Trading Team, part of the
Global Markets division, is looking for an index analyst to fill a vacancy
within our group.

 

We Offer:

The opportunity for you to work in a demanding quantitative/qualitative
role that supports Program Trading as well as the larger Equities
franchise.

 

Primary
Responsibilities:

The Index Strategist works on the Program Trading desk
and will be responsible for:

Building models to predict and
track stock index and ETF activity based on indexer methodologies, including expected
and announced changes to major U.S. and global indices, resulting flows, and
possible alpha generating opportunities.Writing reports and creating client facing trade management tools for
upcoming index events.Searching for and devising possible strategies to capitalize on quantitative
patterns (e.g. excess flows and price performance ahead of large index / ETF
events), and provide the Program Trading desk with trade ideas to better serve
our clients. The position will have a significant client-facing component, and frequent
interaction with clients and colleagues.Additionally, there could be opportunities for presentations/speaking engagements
at conferences, etc.








You Offer To Fulfill the Above Duties, You Offer:

2-4 years of experience (in a related field ideal); technical
background preferred.Strong quantitative skills
important, particularly in statisticsExcellent written and oral reporting skills.  You must be able to communicate ideas
effectively.
