As part of PGIM, the global investment management business of Prudential, PGIM Real Estate Finance is one of the nation’s largest full-service commercial, multi-family, and agricultural real estate lenders. We are looking for an Real Estate Investments Principal to engage in all aspects of the loan origination process, including analysis and underwriting, debt structuring, pricing strategy, presentations to senior management, due diligence review, transaction negotiation and closing.  The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate debt investments for Prudential's wide variety of capital sources. The job will require developing relationships with prospective borrowers and intermediaries while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing clients.  The expectation is that he or she will assume direct originations responsibilities immediately upon joining.
Prior experience in commercial real estate and finance is strongly preferred. The PGIM REF team treats our talent like an investment. The successful candidate will play an important and integral role on the team. The Director will join a fully-integrated mortgage origination team responsible for $500 million to a $1 billion of annual production.
•Minimum of 5-10 years experience commercial real estate lending preferred
•MBA from a top program strongly preferred
•Concentration/major/focus in finance and/or real estate a plus
•Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Outstanding written and oral communication skills
•Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a team
•Proficiency in MS Office applications, (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), strongly preferred
