What will you bedoing? This position is designedto plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the ongoing delivery of care toassigned patients.
Also performs nursing care in a holistic manner.Assists the management/charge nurse with responsibilities as needed.In accordance with hospitalpolicy, may insert I.V.
s, administer I.V.
medications, and begin bloodproduct transfusion.Observes and records patientreactions to medication, I.V.
therapy, blood transfusion, and treatment.Receives and transcribes/checksphysician s orders in a timely manner.Provides and documents patientand family education as needed.Coordinates admission throughdischarge plans with case manager, patient, and familyActively participates in theorientation of new personnel.
Qualifications Graduation froman accredited school of nursing with current RN License in the State ofIndiana.
BSN preferredBLS required,ACLS certification a plus!Nonviolent Crisis Intervention(CPI) training completion within 1 year of hire and maintenance ofcertification.Two yearsexperience in acute hospital critical care required.We value YOU and yourfuture! Our employees comefirst.
