What you will do in this role


- Under the direct supervision of the Director, Cardiac Cath Lab, the Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for the provision of safe and effective care of the patient having invasive or non-invasive special procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab to include the immediate pre-procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure
- Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills with a variety of patients, physicians, and other health care providers both internal and external to the organization, and must make accurate clinical decisions
- To provide continuous safe observation and monitoring of all cardiac patients.

- Identify and document rhythm or pattern changes from the cardiac monitor in the Telemetry patient.


Qualifications

Education

- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.


What qualification you will need:
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.

- Previous clinical nursing experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory environment.

- Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation with ACLS required.
