HCA Houston HealthcareSoutheast is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA HealthcareGulf Coast Division.
The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals,outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilitiesin greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas.
Facilities include: 17hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and aregional transfer center.
What you will do in this role:The Registered Nursecoordinates nursing care for the patients and participates inpatient/family education.
Works collaboratively withancillary staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standardsof professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.Participates in performanceimprovement activities to improve patient safety and quality ofcare.
Maintains cultural anddiversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers andother customers.
Promotes a supportive,team-work oriented environment.Fulfills departmentalresponsibilities consistent with the long-range plan, mission, vision andvalues of HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast.Qualifications Whatqualifications you will need: Current Texas licensure withState Board of Nurse ExaminersCurrent BCLS (Basic LifeSupport), ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC certification requiredNew hires must completePALS/ENPC and TNCC within six (6) months from date of hire.Graduate nurses must complete ACLS,PALS/ENPC and TNCC within one (1) year from date of hire.Graduation from an accreditedschool of nursing required.
Six months of experiencepreferred but new graduates will be considered.
