We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Registered Nurses in the 29 Bed, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) located in Prebys Cardiovascular Institute on the Scripps Memorial La Jolla campus. The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice, focusing on Cardiac Diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. They will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This is a Full Time, Day Shift, position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla - Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Must be able to demonstrate skills & competency with Hemodynamic Monitoring, ECMO, Impella and other cardiac related devices
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- One (1) year Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic ICU experience
