What You'll Do
An opportunity to drive business impact and develop collaboration and expertise for a global community of Cisco professionals. You will be the functional owner for your specific Role and influence up and down the organization, including representing your role community in the newly created CX Role Community Advisory Forum, which will consult to the CX SLT on key business decisions and CX strategy.
You will be accountable for building up the right capabilities and people, equipping them with the skills, tools, and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence and ensure that they meet the needs of CX as they are deployed to value-creating opportunities. You will govern Role-specific assets including curated Learning & Development, Career Plans, Leading Practices. You will be responsible for building and managing your Community Budget.
Your role will also consist of:
Planing and hosting Community events
Representing your Role at industry and internal events (panelists, keynotes, etc)
Governing the Role Community Chapter model for your Community
Act as Chair the Global Community Council for your Community
Representing your Role on the CX Role Community Advisory Forum
Providing regular update to CX Role Community on:
State of the Role (what is going well, what challenges exist)
Updates from CX SLT as it relates to the Role Community in specific
Role Evangelism, connection to the community
Who You'll Work With
Engage with the Community Manager to provide ongoing and regular evangelism for the role: (including blogs, VODs, executive messaging)
Work closely with the Community Manager to present regular reporting (metrics and outcomes)
Collaborate with other Cisco functions, eg, Sales, BU to provide unified Cisco worldview to the customer as well as to foster cross functional relationships for all community members
Who You Are
You can build and maintain an effective and dynamic CX Role Community with a high degree of engagement, adoption and value.
You are able to build and maintain tight alignment with other Role Community Leaders such that our defined roles work together as a single unit, as well as Regional and Theatre stakeholders.
Role Skills/Capabilities/Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in/with the role you will lead (hands on experience, understanding strengths of the role, challenges, growth opportunities)
Viewed internally to CX globally, as well as throughout Cisco as a role SME. External recognition as SME is a plus.
Executive presence and strong affinity to align all employees in your community as one global community.
Real passion for mentoring, teamwork and bringing out the “Best of We” and “Best of Me”
