The Sales Account Manager will report to the MS's Co-Founders and Sales Director.
This position will be the point person for managing key accounts and will assist in overall sales growth in new and existing markets.
We are seeking someone who is driven, highly organized, has an outgoing and engaging personality, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Candidates should have proven experience building customer relationships and facilitating proactive, routine outreach to achieve sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts to achieve sales goals ● Identify products to expand assortment and develop programs to increase sales with existing key accounts ● Manage relationships with prospective small-to-mid sized business customers via email, phone, and through in-person meetings/tradeshows.
● Track daily activity in CRM system for successful account and communication maintenance ● Prepare and deliver account onboarding paperwork in an organized, and efficient manner ● Review and update sales forecast for key accounts weekly ● Report customer needs and issues, product feedback, and trends to management to support Modern Sprout in best serving its partners ● Review opportunities and project workload with Sales Director weekly to ensure effective progress toward monthly, quarterly and yearly department goals ● Collaborate with internal design, operations, and logistics team to satisfy the needs of our partners ● Attend seasonal tradeshows representing the Modern Sprout brand and product OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: ● A bachelor's degree with 1-3 year's applicable experience with sales and account management (preferably in the consumer goods industry selling B2B) ● Personable and able to build and maintain relationships with leads/potential clients ● Driven and self-assured; someone who takes ownership of achieving their goals.
● Confident, with strong written and oral communication skills ● Proven track record of sales success in a similar role ● Tech savvy; someone who is able to easily adopt our existing systems and work with leadership to develop and execute new systems to manage growth they are driving.
