J&J Consumer Inc. Is recruiting for a Sales Operations Manager, Self Care, which will be based in Fort Washington, PA.
The Manager of Sales Operations provides support to field-based team members to facilitate and drive incremental sales for assigned area. Lead the communication process regarding matters such as supply, operational change management, allocations, excess inventory, and product transitions. Identifies growth opportunities and process efficiencies by collaborating with cross-functional partners. The Manager will also lead and participate in special projects as assigned by the manager.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitates the flow of information between sales and demand planning to best meet customer product supply needs.
Responds in a timely manner to field inquiries and proactively keeps the field updated through timely communication of supply issues.
Represents sales operations with internal partner groups. Represents “voice of customer” internally to brand partners.
Obtains alignment between multiple functional groups at all levels for assigned area/projects.
Optimizes business processes (i.e., allocations). Improves processes to minimize areas of vulnerability.
Communicates actionable brand activity to all pertinent field members to ensure action steps are taken accordingly and capitalized on throughout the assigned customer base.
Leads root cause analysis to identify and seek resolution to issues preventing stability in demand.
Interprets market intelligence data in relation to trends, risks and opportunities.
Lead the development of “dashboards” and standardized reports to accurately monitor business results.
Is aware of all the meaningful business processes and requirements related to pricing, trade promotions and inventory management.
Aligns with company policy and procedure at all times.
4-yr degree or equivalent
8 + years prior experience in consumer package goods, including direct customer sales, business analytics, or supply chain
Ability to complete assigned work in an error-free, complete method, while meeting deadlines
Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, complex matrix, changing environment
Ability to influence decision-makers up and down one or more levels, with and without direct authority, to ensure a fully-aligned customer/company business plan
Ability to lead change through strong leadership, effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and/or initiatives
Ability to complete projects and follow processes to deliver results including volume achievements
Ability to plan and execute strategies and tactics to support broader company and brand objectives
Identify and assess risk, and prioritize opposing demand
Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications, database information sources and web applications
