Advance your career as a Manager of Sales Planning.  Here at Kellogg we care about and celebrate your success.  In this exciting role, you will be responsible for optimizing effectiveness and efficiency in the Foodservice Division.  As the Internal champion for sales you will support Non-Commercial National Accounts and Education Accounts via data analysis and modeling, sales planning, and sales communication.  You’ll mine data from various sources to develop insights, identify opportunities and risks, and drive a more effective sales process.  You’ll collaborate with Channel Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, and Sales Leads to develop and communicate Trimester Sales Execution Plans. Business Analytics – As a Sales Planning Manager utilizing your resources will be imperative to your success.  Through modeling and analysis of promotion, spending and volume you will provide direction on opportunities to improve Profit & Loss key metrics (Gross Sales Volume, Net Sales Volume, and Sales Contribution Margin). 
Data Expert – Your analytical mindset will serve you well as you provide analytical support to the sales team for contract renewals, business reviews, pricing requests, target lists, and trade modeling.  You’ll also act as an expert in systems like Tibersoft, FSE, and Salesforce. 
Planning Process – This position will support the sales planning process including the plan guidance, timeline, templates, and tracking.  Assisting in the customer business planning process and book of business analysis you will provide recommendations that will set the team up for success.
Sales Champion – You will proactively identify and prioritize resources required to ensure successful execution.  Tracking and measuring sales execution, identifying obstacles and solutions will be necessary in the achievement of sales goals.
Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with internal and external resources will be imperative. Aligning sales (Broker, National Accounts, Education and Distributor), marketing (Channel and Portfolio), and operations (supply chain) around the same business objectives together you will ensure sales executional excellence.  You will work collaboratively with Deductions Management to make sure there is proper trade visibility.  Partnering with Demand Planning you will work to ensure product availability for scheduled promotions.
Project Management – You will have direct responsibility for executing projects and activities in a timely fashion on Kellogg brands and their impact at a market level. 

HS Diploma/General Education Diploma
High degree of organization and project management skills and attention to detail.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Strong analytical skills and demonstrate sound business judgment and confidence. 
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of personnel within the organization
Ability to work in a large, matrixed corporate environment; experience a plus
Firm understanding of promotional methodology and management.
Proven ability to communicate complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraint
Bonus Points:

Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in either sales or sales support in the Foodservice channel
Understanding of the Foodservice industry and the away from home channels
Advanced technical ability in CRM (Salesforce and FSE) 
Proven fact-based selling experience as well as experience with NPD, Business Warehouse Reporting and / or SAP 
The ideal candidate will reside in the Chicago, IL metro area and would work daily from the local office location in Elmhurst, IL. 

Travel should be expected (approximately 10% of time).
