SAP Financial Consultant - Level 2  - Risk Finance and Treasury
Whippany, NJ
We support the effective and cost-efficient execution of Risk, Finance and Treasury functions through the provision of world class technology, change, data and information reporting services. This support extends to all the functions that roll up to the Group Finance Director and the Group Chief Risk Officer. 

Within the area you will be working (Local Regulatory Reporting & Tax) there are 40 applications suite which generates and calculates reports for key Bank regulatory submissions and global tax provisioning to key global external regulators of UK, EU, US, CHINA, HKG,SGP and RBI RBI Performs mandatory and secret submissions at different frequency (daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and yearly) to deliver below 
Regulatory reports and return filling 
MI and control reports
Tax computation and return preparation
Calculate interest on Tax payments and refunds by jurisdiction
FEE, and Syndicate Invoice generations
Tax Accounting and Reporting system
Risk Reporting
What will you be doing? 
You will provide IT Operation support and application management for the Finance area and Ensure SAP Financial system availability and stability for general use and report generation
You will identify areas of improvement for the system to meet the demanding 24/7 availability requirement and better user experience
This is an internal client facing role where you will own the issues and track them to closure; you will work with global business IT and projects team to ensure seamless support for the business
What we’re looking for: 
Masters or Bachelor’s Degree (IT related preferred)
8+ years of working experience in IT role, with at least 6 years of SAP FI experience (preferably Techno-functional role)
5+ years of experience providing production application support in the area of SAP FI
Skills that will help you in the role: 
In-depth functional knowledge of SAP Financial System (including GL, AP, AR & Asset) - Experience in working with Finance Users is very important
Experience with ITIL concepts and best practices
Exposure to SAP PI, SAP Hana and interfaces (SAP Certification would be an added advantage)
Excellent problem solving and strong crisis management skills—able to remain calm in stressful situations
Risk and Control Objective: 
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
