This position is for a lead SAP Architect to provide technical leadership and support the HR SAP eco-system. This resource will provide architectural guidance and drive the system to the next level of automation and resiliency required to support the enterprise for which these systems perform mission critical business functions and capabilities. The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical and functional support and maintenance for Delta SAP HR System. The Senior Solution Architect will work closely with tower leads as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage monitor and track delivered solutions to fit with overall Time technology and business direction. The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of HR processes for multiple pay groups. This would include the evaluation of the payroll and time and quota schemas to enhance current processes or provide appropriate defect resolution as well as the creation and execution of reports to ensure the integrity of the Time and Attendance data.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE

-The SAP Architect is responsible for the technical build, ongoing support and operations of the current SAP HR applications and its peripheral systems.
-Act as the HR Services-Solution lead for SAP HR system intake process.
-Resolve complex escalations/issues involving multiple processes/systems including analysis of the payroll and time and quota schemas to identify root cause and solution of time & pay discrepancies .
-Participate in SAP HR projects as an integral part of a cross-functional team to support the delivery of HR Services.
-Partner with the SAP COE teams to define business requirements, assess technology needs, and identify technical solutions for achieving business objectives .
-Defines and implement strategy to upgrade HR Payroll and Time modules.
-Works with HR SAP COE to discuss and resolve employee master data and/or payroll requirements necessary to execute changes to Payroll and/or Time Modules.
-Assists with implementing and coordinating Payroll & Time business process changes, data accuracy audits and end user training.
-Ensure payroll, time and attendance data integrity .
-Produce ad hoc reports, data and trend analysis, such as exception processing, OT/DT usage and associated costs, MSS processing, etc.
-Assist with the development and delivery of training and reference materials
-Establishes strategies, processes, policies and guidelines to enable the Basis team to function as a high performing team. Performs hands on Basis work if required.
-Review the current systems and provide a vision for a future state architecture that leverages cloud technologies and platforms and provides for instant scalability when needed.
-Act as the lead SAP Basis SME to provide oversight to all SAP systems that include systems such as ECC, EWM, PI, Solution Manager.
-Deploying, administering and managing SAP Basis and application integrations.
-Collaborate with many teams including networking, database, storage/backup, development and operations to efficiently and effectively deliver operational excellence.
-Implement the disaster recovery strategy in collaboration with vendor partner and other Delta IT teams.
-Responsible for target system performance goals for SAP systems.
-Collaborates with other Delta IT groups in order to solve technical issues. Establishes and monitors escalation of problems.
-Partner with Change and Release Management to ensure a stable operating environment during any transitions and changes.
-Ensure all processes are in compliance with Delta's policies and procedures, including SOX, PCI, and data retention processes.
-Provide guidance to team members to implement the new designed architecture. Serve as the driving and leading force for this new vision.
-Enable automated monitoring and health checks into the system and be the driving force to define the standards and implement the solutions required to minimize manual administrator involvement.
-Act as the lead System Expert on upgrade planning and provide accurate resource estimates on performing all upgrade tasks from an SAP Basis administrator position.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? / WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

-Must have a minimum of 10 years equivalent relevant development experience in Time and Attendance, Payroll, HR, or related functions with a minimum 4 years analytical work experience required.
-Must have 5 years of experience
