What you’ll be doing...
As our Scrum Master, you will engage as a Servant/Leader removing impediments for your developer teams, coaching your teams in the best Agile practices and facilitating the development scrum cycle. This is a full-time position based in Denver, CO, where you will collaborate with team members across functions as well as our executive team.
Your Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate all Scrum Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Grooming, and Release Planning Build user stories for workflow
Remove impediments to team deliverables and product goals.
Instrumental in developing Scrum processes around Jira platform
Assess Scrum Maturity of team and bring team to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace
Deliver weekly reports by business function and features
Work closely with the release manager to develop clear timelines/milestones for feature releases
Work closely with the Operations Program Lead to identify resolutions of any impediments and mitigate any program impacts
What we’re looking for...
What You Bring tothe Company(a.k.a. qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
Scrum Master certification (CSM), PMP-ACP or CSP preferred
Other Agile or Project Management certification (PSM I, PSM II, SAFe)
Expertise in diligently applying Agile principles, practices and theory (User stories, Story Pointing, Velocity, Burndown Metrics, Agile Games, Tasking, Retrospective Cycle Time, Throughput, Work in Progress levels, Product Demos)
Experience working with various software development practices (BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Paring, Automated Testing, DevOps)
Experience working with different Agile approaches (Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban etc.)
Hands on experience with Agile ALM tools especially Jira with a deep understanding of setting up a platform
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, influence and transparency
Exceptional verbal and written skills
Detail-orientated and have the ability to understand and communicate technical information
Strong presentation skills
Highly organized and able to multi-task
